    No you do not need to activate 2003, running it now, no activation required.

    You just need the correct serial

    It was just a "show off" :)
    I think it's awesome what the guy's behind the Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) research has managed to solve, in terms of retail activation.
    My hats off and on my knees...:worthy:
