I used the Key from the 64 Bit release of the Office Technical review. That key was activated. It has to be a key that was previously activated. And as Solar stated run as admin. The way I see it is that if it did not work then you either used a key that was not activated before or you made some type of a mistake. I printed the instructions out before I used them.

hanschke Try replace files manually. Do it like in my first instruction. Script doesn't work on all machines. Try manually
My german kinda sux, but if i understand correctly it gives errors when taking ownership/assigning rights, but copy and activate actualy worked. What i think is because of some language issues or something like that anyway. Thing is that ownership and rights are added "just in case", they should not be needed if copy/past works and it seems it does. It even activate, no idea why you are geting that window tho... Try to do everything manualy and also remove Cache folder in same folder where you are rewriting tokens.dat
Should the November build be uninstalled first, like was required to go from the summer build to the November build, or can it go right on top?
Is there a OutlookConnector compatible with this version? I can't configure Hotmail without OC... =S Also, what are the major changes on this version? Faster Outlook for what I've read... Anything else?
no idea if old outlook connector works, it should... but in worst case you can use pop3. I just cant make my self moving from Windows Live Mail... maybe when final will hit and Wave4 of messanger, with hopefuly intergration of outlook in to messanger, like it is with live mail. For example if you have live mail installed and messanger, when you click inbox or something it opens windows live mail, if you have outlook installed it opens webpage and i just hate that. About changes, im not using office that much to notice much of random changes, mostly i do is edit/write document or two per week or something in all honesty wordpad is enough for me
would be nice if there was a way to right the script so that the eula is forced yes and key is auto inserted like we have with office12 install disc
Did Outlook prompt you to download the Connector when you added the Hotmail account? That would be your only shot at finding a version newer than the one released with Beta 2 in the fall. @SoLoR: OK, I usually do that first anyway. It probably prompts an uninstall if you don't, like the last beta did.
i currently have an office12 iso with this script edited into the config files of the various folders so that upon installation i dont have to insert a key or check agree to eula. i want to do the same with office14 however every key i try does not work. not even my own office14 beta mak key
the keys that i used in the script all come back invalid so i believe if i have a key that is active for this version i can auto force it.
@tkirill, Re the instructions above, you mean "Office Software Protection Platform" service, I assume? There is no "Software Licensing" service, though there is one called "Software Protection." Both are running here.
Yes, think so. But if you're in safe mode (as it is sais) then those services won't be running. That part I copied from the instruction for Windows 7. Therefore you're right about the service
