I have a Spanish version is 14.0.4536.1000 Office, uninstall, restart the PC but I can not install the English version 14.0.4734.1000 on getting an error that I must uninstall any previous vesion of Office 2010 and other related applications,

How did you manage to activate Visio and Project with the activate.cmd file?

I received three MAK key's, one each for Office Professional, Visio and Project, but the activate.cmd file only allows for one key.

What did you do to get Visio and Project to work?

 

you only need to edit the activate.cmd file and replace the key in it with yours. tokens.dat file will take care of viso and project.

 

Yeah that's right - when you run the activate.cmd script you'll see in the output that it's working for office, then visio and project. I guess all the info it needs is already there

 

Is this Final Ofiice 2010 ? or I should wait for Final Office 2010 ?

 

office14 is now up to v.4740 so 4734 is not the final build.

 

I second kdomilger observation. The situation is not like Windows 7 where we were certain we had the RTM MSDN build. I'd wait until there is a better confirmation of what version the RTM will be before moving forward. Second, it's not like Office 2007 is not working so I'd stick with that and besides, the activation hacks may get easier and better so waiting never hurts anyone.......
