Microsoft Office 2013 Prof. Don't finish my install!

    Hello,

    I run on my Windows 8.1 Pro laptop (Activated), I wanna install MS Office 2013, in the beginnen is everything good.
    I see in the Office folder --> In C: - Programm Files, the Office installs there the MS Office.

    Only after 75% installing..
    I get this error:     [h=1]Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 encountered an error during setup[/h]

    I did reinstall, remove files with Revo Uninstaller, regedit, but noting helps.

    That is why i always create a restore point in case of troubles, before doing something on my machines, even if i believe the soft i'm installing is sure. :)

    Download Office 2013 again

    Ok, here's what you should do:-

    1. Restore your system to a previous "good" point.
    2. Download a copy of the MSDN Office ISO found in MDL
    3. Turn off the internet & install again

    when Office 2013 installs on some systems, it loads TOO MANY installers. open task manager and kill all but one, it will keep opening them and stick again, once it sticks remove them all again except one.

    pos office 2013 since day one
