Nope, then will not and probably you should avoid office updates and not allow office to using a internet (working in offline mode) just to be sure.

In that case, it is definitely better to wait for VL because of Office's cloud integration with SkyDrive. I'm using Office 2013 preview atm, and all of my work is backed up to SkyDrive.

Personal preference, but I prefer to wait for VL so that updates, etc. can be installed and there is peace of mind.

How do I get the phone activation screen to come up? I entered the key, and it won't let me activate by phone.

EDIT: N/M. I shut down word, restarted it, and it came up. I activated fine.
