Hmm, strange notation by the update.
Can you tell me, if you have the SP1 installed with Windows/Office Update site or manual?

Because, it seems to me, that when you install SP1 by Windows/Office Update, you have KB2850036 as notation and when you do it manually download and install SP1, you get KB2817430.

For the next, yes you have SP1 successfully installed, such as the version number as you told.

what's the difference between KB2850036 and KB2817430 ?

 

Nothing really, KB2850036 is universe container for all SP1 products

 

Are there any WGA and or genuine checks in SP1?

 

Thank you for the information. That's what I sort of remembered that MS some time ago quietly removed genuine check stuff from Office.

I have Office Pro Plus 2013 x86, I activated it with phone activation and it was successful.

Now just checking that SP1 won't screw up my activation

i have installed proplussp2013-kb2817430-fullfile-x64-en-us.exe

after restart and open word 2013, its showing this version

is this the correct version for SP1?

but i am confuse because in windows update still ask to update
