    Had the same bootstrapping error as posted by Garbellano and Nucleus. What I did was I installed Office 2013, uninstall it, then reinstalled Office 2016. Seems fine now.

    My question might be stupid, but I would like to know the utility to install the VL version of Office instead of Retail which works fine? Thank you in advance for your clarification.
