Is there a way to convert the official Retail Office / Visio / Project ISOs to VL?

I already answered your original post on the MTK Thread which would have ultimately have sent you to this thread.

So, just download the Official M$S$ VLSC (i.e. Volume License Service Center) version of Office ProPlus 2016 VL, Visio Pro 2016 VL, and Project Pro 2016 VL from here and skip the conversion process.

Hello, i downloaded this ISO : SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2016_64Bit_French_MLF_X20-42435, and am stuck with "Proofing.fr-fr\Proof.fr\Proof.cab" not been found, it can be any language (Proof.es) and it can be with any file (Proof.msi)
What i noticed is that the install is locking for files and folders with the first letter in uppercase, and what physically exist is in lowercase.
So if i took the missing files and put them outside and updated the name and then pointed the installer to the new dir. It works !!
I cant do this for each file/dir and i think that am not the only one how had or will have this problem in the future
Any idea, suggestion ... ?
PS: Am mounting the ISO using the default Windows 10 utility

have you verified the checksums of iso?

 

Thanks for noticing that, i just found the cheksum list for my version and it seems different than mine ! i will re-download it and post the result back

About language and interface packs - I want only one language (for interface, proofing and apps help) - bulgarian. I tried the proposed link from individual languages, but link is dead. Can somebody help me, please?

 

which one should i install office 2016 VL or office 2016 Retail?
and which one is better using microsoft Tool Kit or KMSpico ?

 

If you want to use KMS, stick with the VL version.

 

If you can use the latest version of Office, you can use the retail version. You can convert it to VL with O2016RTool.
If you can activate via CMD without cracks, you can use the VL version, but it lacks some features like Morph transition in PowerPoint 2016, for example.

 

You mean to say, Volume edition doesn't get new features with the updates like Retail edition does?

If not, then where could i get the latest version of Office Pro plus Retail edition?

question might be silly but... installed Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus VL [En], can I install Microsoft Office MultiLanguage Pack 2016 over it? or is the MultiLanguage Pack a full ISO in a different language? I want to have the english version and be able to switch to another language when needed.

Wait, you mean if I install the VL version, I won't get any updates, or I will get updates but later than retail versions?

P.S. I haven't tried office 2016 at all, so I have no idea.
