1609 (Build 7369.2055) was released Nov 8. Though I suspect we'll have to wait for that one to be uploaded.

Patience is a virtue. Guess we'll have to play the waiting game.

An obvious question, but it never hurts to be sure: with this version, can I select which components I want to install (for ex, only Word, Office and PowerPoint)?

And does Microsoft Toolkit works normally for this?

    Thanks.

Thanks guys. I'm glad it have but, when I learned about this, I got really mad. It's ridiculous to not give a custom installation option, even in normal versions. Since Windows 8.1, it seems that Microsoft just wants to take out all of the control you have over the OS.

    Just a personal rant. :D

    no, you are wrong.
the normal MSDN c2r give also a custom installation option, but it is a little bit tricki.
you must 1. write a custom-option.xml file and start the setup32.exe / setup64.exe from the DVD with this custom.xml

see also officedeploymenttool and the related technet article for the xml options

IMHO, this should be available by default, not tricky editing an .xml file manually.
