Thank you, your explanation is exactly what I'm looking for. So integrating updates downloaded with WHDownloader will result in the most up to date VL version. The main reason I prefer VL version is because office customization tool. I didn't found the same tool for C2R, only deployment tool, that have some options but lacks several others that customization tool for VL have. Apart of run a most up to date, virtualizated self contained version, is there any other advantage in use office C2R instead of VL? The lack of customization tool for C2R is a great let down to me.
If VL Office does the job, there is no need for a change to "over-featured" C2R. As you already have experienced: OCT (compared to ODT) has more options and gives more flexibility to deploy Office. But I fear, that Microsoft pushes cloud- based subscription services and this leads us right away to Click2Run.
Because all languages are in single link. Only download the ISO you need. In µTorrent (I'm using as example) when you add magnet link it will give you an option to choose files, uncheck all and select the ISO you want and µTorrent will download that files only. Spoiler: UTorrent
Hi Everyone, is there a retail x86 version for Pro Plus (2016, English) anyone might know of? Apologies, but I can't seem to fin this in this thread. I just found M$ seems to have stopped open downloads of the software. i have a genuine key- I just need the original installer. Thanks for your help !
