yes exactly, so as i said it doesn't matter wich office version he downloads because if someone chooses to download retail version he can convert it easily to VL version as you just said, he also can choose to not convert it to VL version because afaik kms allows to convert from retail to VL version already.

 

That tip doesn't apply for 'Home and ...' versions, so it's not entirely helpful to state it that diffusely .

 

ok but most people not to say all of them choose to install pro or proplus office edition.

 

Better not assume what people might do or not, but give more specific info.

 

ok well said, so i will say that this tip will work in his case as he wanted to download project pro and visio pro 2016.
