Is there an official detailed user manual for all office products or something? if not what are best resources to learn Office quickly?

Is it worth waiting for Office 2019 or should I install 2016?

What is the difference between the traditional VLSC vs C2R versions? Does C2R get newer features quicker? Unless you use office heavily at work I guess the latest features aren't required by most people.

Doesn't Office Pro Plus have Project Pro and Visio Pro built in?
Isn't that what the "Pro Plus" means?

Doesn't MS make an ISO with both x86 and x64 on it?

Since this Office Pro Plus is VL, I can install only the apps in Office I want, correct? The non-VL version doesn't allow you to pick and choose programs, right? The non-VL version automatically installs all Office Applications by default, right?

This is listed further down the page:
OFFICE 2016 RTM, UNTOUCHED ISO, VOLUME BUILD: 16.0.4266.1001 original VLSC images by WZT EN-US & RU-RU
How is it different from Office Standard or Office Pro Plus listed at the top of the page?

Is this Office Pro Plus VL English listed further down the page in one magnet download link any different from the ISO at the top of the page?
    SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2016_64Bit_English_MLF_X20-42432.ISO 950 MB

Where it says multi-language. It's not really a single ISO for all languages is it? The list shows a separate ISO for each and every language. Does that one magnet download link contain an individual ISO for everyone of those languages? Isn't that a huge torrent that will take many hours to download to get only the one ISO you want? Can't MS fit more than one language on one disc or, have one Office ISO and a second ISO with all languages on it?

The Individual Component ISOs are for x86 or x64. Couldn't MS fit both x86 and x64 in one ISO?

I see further down the page that we can DL a single ISO for each language so we don't have to use the magnet link further up the page that includes an ISO for every language. That's much better, thank you.

    What is ...
Office 2016 MLP and LIP and Proofing Tools (Unpacked) - All Languages

    Thank you for your knowledge.

    No, they are separate products
    Microsoft Office Pro Plus
    Microsoft Project Pro
    Microsoft Visio Pro

you didn't try Office 2010 or 2013 before?

i don't think they created one for Office 2016

The non-VL version (ClickToRun) also allow to install single apps separately, from the same source

whereas in VL version (MSI), when you exclude some apps, you merely exclude there GUI frontends, and you will end up getting updates for the whole suite including some excluded apps

    No difference
if sha1 hash matches, then yes they are the same

You can select the files you want to download in Torrent client and skip the others

Multi Languages Pack (full) - Language Interface Pack (partial)
the specific files for each language, if you want to add to other language product ISO

Thank you abbodi 1406. You're fantastic. Thank you for the education.
Yes, I've used previous versions of Office. I had a 2016 disc but I swear it wouldn't allow me to pick and choose which Office apps to install. I didn't know in either case that it always installs every app but omits the GUI. That's good to know. I didn't think I could choose individual ISOs of one magnet link in my torrent client. That's great!
