Hello Threat lmao btw, I seem to be LACKING all the 8.1 debug/checked. How did I miss that stuff? (not update, just 8.1)
Oz, why you make everything complicated? I'm trying to keep it simple and I have customers who are novices when come to computers. All they do is push the power button and the machine magically comes on and go on the Internet to check their e-mails, go on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, watch YouTube videos and doing school work using and updating their resume in Microsoft Word.
Just found this, Are you still looking for Office 2000 Premium SR-1 (4-CD set, CD1/2=Office; CD 3/4 contain Server Extensions and PhotoDraw). Let me know.
Not really maintaining this thread much, since there was so little interest in it. I have updated the original post to reflect this. But I would still be interested in the CD1 missing from 2000 Premium SR-1 set which is now in first post. The incomplete set came from Beta Archive. So if your 2/3/4 CD matches the above I would be interested along with quite a few people who has gotten the incomplete set from Beta Archive.
Missing CDs Let me know where to send it, all 4 in single file 1.5GB (.rar). I have never done this before.
@WinDev So do they all have ULTRAISO headers like 99% of all files on BA? @Cappy1954 If you do not post checksums for them first, I doubt anyone will be interested in an eventual upload.
I downloaded both Photodraw and Vizact and ISOs are maked with CDIMAGE (PhotoDraw ISOs with 2.32, Vizact ISO with 2.39).
I just grabbed the Vizact thing thanks, no idea what it does, can't recall, but looks real. It has padding on it. Real sums: Code: File: VIZACT_2000.iso Label: VIZACT_2000 Size: 146 MB (153,511,936 bytes) CRC-32: ffffffff MD4: f9e5c3ec13f209faa3198785607d0f28 MD5: 1d693b7997bb79b19b70e9ba3af992f6 SHA-1: cf71295bd238fcd643178685c36ec389bb8049b6
Must be you, works just fine in my Windows 2000 VPC (RTM) MANY programs that wont run under SP4, you need an earlier incarnation. Probably the case here. BTW, your Photodraw 3 CD set is home made, did you repack them or did they do it at BA? @Cappy1954 Did you rip discs to iso or did you do what most people do and drag folder into a layout? Reason I'm asking is that 99 out a 100 do it the wrong way.
Just installing Windows 98 SE in VM to try Vizact 2000. EDIT: Vizact 2000 works on Windows 98 SE. For PhotoDraw v2, I downloaded from BA FTP and unpacked and I packed in RAR on Best Compression Method, but ISOs remained untouched. But ISOs seems legit, because they are maked with CDIMAGE 2.32 and files are from 1999.
eh? They are CD's already so rip to ISO using UltraISO would be best (this correctly removes the padding)
That explains all your home-made uploads/ crap. This post of your is probably one of the dumbest things I have ever read here on MDL. Couldn't be more wrong. @Cappy1, please make the ISO's as EFA11 points out, then I would be happy to get your uploads. @EFA11, thanks, was looking for your previous post with that screen capture, but could not find it.
He never said it was your program. He said your idea of using it was dumb. He's correct. Why would you copy to your hard drive and attempt to regenerate with CDIMAGE when you don't even know if CDIMGAGE was used to master the original CD's, let alone which version? And which options, and how would you know it was correct if you didn't have an ISO untouched to start with? You clearly have a very different interpretation of "untouched" as the rest of us members.
