Script runs fine until I want to create an ISO file. Version of oscdimg.exe is not compatible. Running Win7 32bit --- after searching the web for a compatible version (found mine here www,rmprepusb.com/tutorials/getwaiktools) it runs fine now. thank you.
Thanks for the handy little tool. Just installed Office 2013 x64 on Windows Server 2008 no problems. Had a minor issue activating Visio, probably because I activated Office before I installed Visio. I figured it out though.
I got that same error when trying to activate my TechNet copy of Office 2010. Turns out my TechNet keys are considered retail keys.
Hello, first of all thank you very much for your job. I have a question. Is it possible to edit your script in order that it works with the original files of a certain language? For example, Spanish Office 2010 (X17-75356.exe) instead of English one (X17-75238.exe)
You can foll my script by changing file name X17-75238.exe -> X17-75356.exe. I can't had to my script all files name because it is complicate in batch files.
Can I change the language to UK English, or do I need to download a language pack? Also, is it ok to install over Office 2007, essentially performing an upgrade, which I did from 2003 to 2007 successfully, thus preserving all my Outlook data? Lastly does the activator act as a permanent measure, and if so, can I still do all the usual Windows and Office updates without interfering with activation? Cheers for any help you can offer!
Followed your advice, and worked a treat.. Now happily running Office 2013! Many thanks for the advice... Much appreciated!
Out of pure curiosity, I tried installing 2013 over 2007, choosing upgrade Office, on my other computer, must to see what happened, and it went fine.. All the Outlook settings, aside from Calendar & Contacts (which are synced with Google) were saved.. As it's not my main machine, if it messed up, it wouldn't have made a difference, but it seems to function perfectly.. That in mind, is there a reason it's not recommended? Cheers.. Ollie.
The 2007 was retail, and 2013 VL.. Activation seems to be working fine.. I've checked the time on it, and it's reverting to 179 days every day with no problems. Perhaps I'm just lucky! Its on a machine that it really doesn't matter if it does screw up (though it would be handy if it doesn't!).. I just thought it would be interesting to try it!
The trial period, which starts at 180 days is reset every day by the activator. As I understand it, if it goes down to, for example, 172, the activator isn't working properly. It resets the trial back to the beginning daily. Mine stays at 179 days.
