Cipherfx: New SP1 disk come in EXE format. I don't really see the problem. Download all new files and let them program do the magic uniuse: Try using this setup files in root folder. Tell me if it's working for u now. If it will not work tell me and i will check what else to do. shamu726 also had this same problem.
Sorry I didn't make it clear , does the latest version doesn't accept iso format with built-in sp1? Coz my Office 2013. Visio and Project are with SP1 and in .iso format If is not, consider it as request for the next coming version, please Is there a method to convert the iso to img?
When I'm using OfficeDC.1.32.exe the fix does not work. Can install Project but no Office. When I'm using OfficeDC.1.30.exe the fix does not work. Can install Project but no Office, but without fix can install Office no Project.
I have the same problem as uniuse, all looks fine but I can't install. Setup.dll not found, while it is there. I made an Englisch-Dutch version.
No, I use an Windows 8.1 x64 machine. Made an ISO with x86 and x64 with viso and proj. Tried setup in root and setup in x64 folder. Both had this problem.
@The-Wiz Let me first congratulate you on your efforts. There seems to be a problem with the download folder when there are spaces in a user's login. Create a user "A. B. Christ" for example and run 1.32 to replicate the problem. I am using Win7 Ultimate 64 bit
I made the same install as you and had the same problem. I replaced the setup.exe and setup.dll with the files from the original US ISO and that fixed it. Hope it helps.
Same issue - cannot find setup.dll or setup.exe when installing Visio or Project Used your method (OfficeDC.1.33) and files (downloaded yesterday from your links) for OfficePro 2013 and it worked OK. But for Visio 013 and Project 2013, they will not install - fail at about 40% of the install bar with the "Cannot find setup.dll" error as posted above. Sometimes it is 'setup.exe' that is missing rather than dll. I am trying: Created ISO discs containing 32- and 64-bit versions of (a) Visio 2013, (b) Visio 2010, (c) Project 2013, (d) Project 2010 [ie 4 discs, each with 32- and 64-bit versions of the same program] But the problem occurs when I try installing the 2013, 32-bit versions. I have not tried the 64-bit versions. Same error if I install from the disk root or from the x86 directory Same error if I install from the raw (non-ISO-disc image) folder on my hard drive, from either 'root' or x86 directory. The 2010 versions install and activate OK so I presently have Office 2013 with Visio 2010 ad Project 2010. Hoping for a fix from your great efforts!!
Still have problem adding new LP files, so later i fix language problem. 1.40 - Add: Office 2013 SP1 and LP Sp1 new links Fix: Office 2013 Error (10x ExperiMentor)
@The-Wiz Let me congratulate first on your efforts. I used the last 1.41 version to create a x86 Office 2010 + Project + Visio + Languages: English, Italian, German, Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian + Post SP2 updates (WHDownloader) 1. Since the program needs the Office2010 exe file without SP1 you better write it also in its interface what is needed. Now is written the version with SP1 is needed. 2. For the Croatian language is written that a non SP1 version is needed but the program demands the SP1 version. 3. For the Project2010 and Visio2010 the the program calls the SP1 version (what is also written in the interface), but since the SP2 is out the basic versions of both would be enough. 4. The program at the end does not make the image file (iso). 5. I have tried to install Office Project and Visio individually but the installation is stopped because there is something wrong with setup.exe. I have made also a version with just english x86 Office2010 + SP2, but the problem persists.
