So Slow download takes 2 hours to get it in

 

At least Microsoft has released latest updated Windows 10 ISOs (for now, new cumulative update will be released next Tuesday)

 

Compress the install.wim > install.esd or split into multiple .swm files to fit FAT32.

 

To download with good speed, chose filecloud.io on the multiup page, 11 MB/sec for me. ^^

They could not fit theirs ISOs under 4GB anymore, updates size are becoming larger and larger and keeping them "on the low" is not probably possible any longer, the era of FAT32 is done already, we should take that.

 

Win 7 is only released as non SP1 = RTM, and with SP1 in 10 years.

If and when the MCT gets updated to this release you will be able to download the iso's with an install.esd and it will easily fit DVD5 or FAT32 USB's for installing on UEFI or Legacy BIOS systems.

ESD yes, but no more under-4GB-WIM releases.

 

I do hope it gets repeat for Win 10, too.

You can easily make VL of the MSDN iso's but not the other way around
