total nonsense (homebrew) setupp.ini -> Pid=51873270 (indicate SEL channel) CDBOOT1.IMG - CDBOOT4.IMG -> Lable W2POEB1_PL - W2POEB4_PL (indicate sp0 pro OEM channel) sp4 is manual slipstreamed you can only put it in your "Spare parts warehouse"
forget this hombrew nonsense. i dont know if setupp.ini from this nonsense - is compleate original from SEL channel - or from OEM channel (with only manual change the last pidgen byte from 000 to OEM) - or whatever. Thanks for your W2PFPP_PL - this iso seems valid (i hope you doesn't remake it) - i checked most of the files and cant find any faulty file. the compile settings for the image ar exact the same as the EN image (except the timestamp). the directory records to be exactly aligned at ends of sectors (ISO-9660 6.8.1.1 conformant but breaks MSCDEX) - no default M$ as expected @florancegetta my assumptions of settings to recompile W2SFPP_PL seems all OK
I meant only about 3 months later date @vanelle I posted also genuine ch nt4sp4 iso in proper thread some days ago
Can some one help me out with all the listings on page 1? I am looking for Windows XP SP1 and 1a but do not understand all the different ones listed on Page 1. I am looking for English and I live in the U. S.
what you don't understand ? the difference between Retail (FPP) - Upgrade (CCP) - OEM (OEM) - Volume (VOL) - or what ?
I was looking for oem. I have two computers, one HP, and one Toshiba, that when restored from their cd's, do not have any service packs installed. If I try to install SP2 or SP3 I get a message that you have to install SP1 first. I downloaded SP2 and SP3 from Microsoft's website (they were called the Standalone installer for IT's) but at the time SP1 or 1a was not available for download. If you can give me the sha1 number on the first page for SP1 and SP1a for XP oem English U.S. One more question. Are there different service packs for XP oem, XP retail and XP vol? I thought they were the same.
