archive.org isn't that slow, 380 ~ 400 Mb should dl in a "few minutes" (4-8 min) and SmartVerison will not help you with redumping. Uiso redump with ISO filter: Tools > Make CD/DVD Image... > Enable ISO Volume Filter
@vanelle I've been tinkering around this image, to be honest I will not agree nor will I disagree. I can not find obvious details that this is a homebrew, then again, no offficial checksums are available.
@Sajjo there are some files that cant be remake and make it easy to identify original from homebrew.. yes SP1POEM_ES.iso is quite good homebrew (realy hard to identify as homebrew) please understand that i dont want to make this know how puplic coz this only leads to more better homebrew images (make it much more harder to find original) ATM is no original win2000 with SP1 (SP2,Sp3) Spanish ISO's exist The only original ES Iso is es_win2000_pro_sp4_sel.iso
I understand that and agree, if you PM your points we can elaborate further. If not, that is still fair. Regards
No, it is not useful, you only describe the mathematical law that is based on all hash variants generally said (as far as i remember) hash value for a byte buffer (with buffer size x) - hash value -1 = 0 for crc-32 the hash is 4 byte (in Microsoft universum it is a DWORD = 32bit(4bytes) unsigned integer) For Microsoft AutoCRC this DWORD (32bit(4bytes) unsigned integer) is stored as little endian in the last 4 byte of the ISO 9660 eg Code: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 45 78 63 6C 43 52 43 00 34 D8 4C 9D 41 75 74 6F 43 52 43 00 40 D6 EA D3 ExclCRC ÂìÈ;AutoCRC ZV=ƒ MSCDCRC: AutoCRC is 0xD3EAD640 (DWORD) -> little endian (4 byte notation) 40 D6 EA D3 MSCDCRC: Computed CRC is 0xFFFFFFFF
Did MSDN have all win2k with SP4 language versions back in the day? Does anyone have checksums of all languages?
I lost all my iso images some years ago and I've been trying to collect everything again. I can't remember if Microsoft released iso images 20 years ago. So i'm wondering if these win2k iso's are from Microsoft or copied from disc. If these are from discs how do I check that these are made correctly with UltraISO?
