Seems like no takers or lost of interest... I have a test box with two hard drives, one drive has a mod of XP (Tiny11) and a mod of Win7 Ultimate SP1 [Impeccable sources]

The other drive has Win7 SP0 in trial mode. winversion 6.1.7600.

Usually load from bios which hdd to boot 1st...

anyway I will try this update now & see if any issues and/or if SP1 will appear from WU after install, as of now there is no SP1 showing only KB976902 {checked} and {KB971033} WAT unchecked.

    will return
    lates,sev

    Edit:
fyi, prior to KB976902 update install the test box had an 'already modded bios' but in trial mode!

After installing KB976902 the following update appeared immediately w/out reboot.

    Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB976932) Size 73.6 MB - 892.6 MB

Before installing SP1 but after install of KB976902 I manually installed cert&key & was activated aok!

    Edit2:
Downloaded / Installed SP1 re starting now..3,2,1, lol. I'll be back if I notice any breakage, lol, ts now you got me doing it ... lol :)

    Edit3:

After several reboots and a comeplete shutdown after the SP1 WU update KB976932 was installed ... When I returned to WU to check for additional updates only 1 optional update KB2488113 appeared. Smell a big buttt coming! lol
Buttt the 34 optional language updates that were there before have now disappeared... , lol go figure any1 else experience this?

    Edit:4
Well i restarted again checked WU site still no updates. I shut down all the way and turned back on and checked WU again for updates and 33 languages from the optional updates area are now there weighing in @ around 2346.3 MBs.

Currently snatching... why not whats a test box for anyways, lol 27% complete so far @59-217KB/s.
WU must be getting hit hard, lol

    Edit:5

Went to sleep... all languages downloaded & installed as expected.
when I woke up everything was is fine. Booted into my already Win 7 SP1 slipped Mod. hadn't been there for 1 month so 34 Languages were available plus the 8 others very cool.
Thank you MDL for all the knowledge Thank you all Developers for ur projects

Specifically it's a reliability update and is one of five offered to fix certain issues you may or may not have. Genarally this type of update is safe; it's listed as important and not optional and as such I'm going to install the lot. If they bugger windows 7 I'll either uninstall them or restore my latest image.

One of them told me my system wasn't genuine, had to reimage, the restore backup would not fix it.

When running WUD does it not scan the directory and display the updates you currently have downloaded already?? Or do i need to Manually keep track of what downloads i already have so it doesn't redownload them all?

    should one apply 2534366?
As per WUupdate "Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix."
