    A question from NOOB. How to actualy apply this updates once listed in Windows Updates Downloader folowing your tip to SAXPSP bellow.

    Simply, tick the updates you wish to install or apply. Then, click on the download button on the bottom right. This shall download the updates to your PC for installation.. :eek:

    Just installed this compatibility update for IE8 without trouble (using 7 Loader by Daz)

    Install this update to resolve issues that may occur after installing the Internet Explorer cumulative security update issued as MS09-054. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.

    Didn't show up for me. My windows 7 is using the bios mod with the dell key and is showing as activated/genuine, should I download/install this manually?

    I just did and had to repair srs sandbox stop working but all is good now

    Allow me to thank ya earnestly for reporting back to the center. The update has been tested, marked as safe, and added to the center.. ;)

    However, there is an important remark that is worth noting everybody..


    @ Xec

    No bro.. As indicated in the list, this update is rated "Optional". This implies that the update is recommeneded for certain systems only and not all. Since this update wasn't displayed in your list, then apprently you don't need it.. So better lose it.. :rolleyes:

    Keep up everybody.. :eek:

    Windows Update offered me this morning this update:

    Security Update for CAPICOM (KB931906)

    CAPICOM-KB931906-v2102.exe

    No problems after install.
    (Windows 7 Ultimate x86 - Spanish - activated with bios mod)
