Why download 15 GB for 3 iso when exist the SVF files?! but... not everyone has the fiber optic thanks, but I download only the standard version ... for the rest I use the SVF files
I think a huge number of people still do not "Get" the whole SVF thing, they are usually the ones which will spend 45 min. complaining they have no time to spare to learn.
I just tested this version as VM - en_windows_server_2016_x64_dvd_9327751.iso - It is still RETAIL version. So none of the ISO posted here are RTM/VLSC. I was able to activate from the server manager by entering kms key and my local kms server was able to activate using MTK 2.6.1. I also installed all the windows update and bit defender updates and syspred so, I can use it for future deployments within my home lab.
This is the VLSC (VL) version of the iso you used: SW_DVD9_Win_Svr_STD_Core_and_DataCtr_Core_2016_64Bit_English_-2_MLF_X21-22843.ISO
Thanks Enthousiast for confirming which ISO is VLK. Just started to download SW_DVD9_Win_Svr_STD_Core_and_DataCtr_Core_2016_64Bit_English_-2_MLF_X21-22843.ISO. Will test out tomorrow.
