Hi! I have this rom for asus G71GX and I want to update my Asus G71G with it. It's the same motherboard and support the same hardware, but Asus want to stop the support for my model but continue to support the G71GX bios with more 3 or 4 updates! When I try to use winflash to install the G71GX bios, the software tell me that is not the G71G bios so... the plan it's easy: Change the G71Gx bios to G71G to install it! Can anyone help me?! I have no time to do this before, only yesterday, but it works with Afudos: C:\> afudos /oOldBios.rom then C:\> afudos /iNome Bios.rom /pbnc /n */i to install /o to copy the old The Afudos version in asus site didn't work for me, so I think that i downloaded the versin 2.xx or 3.xx. I have a G71GX bios v. 1704
