Modding my bios for 2.1

    So i have my original bios for my gateway lx6810. SLIC table shows ACRSYS so i know its acer as thats how i activated vista x64.

    My question is..with slictool 1.25..If i open up the bios, allow modification, and select the ACER bin from the package in the stickys..do i leave SLP file and Certificate file empty considering those arent available yet?

    And if so, will all i need later is a cert file and SLP key to enter via slmgr.vbs script?

    You should only have to integrate the SLIC into the BIOS then put in a key and cert later to activate it.
