I am doing some diagnostics to my usb modem. It is a usb data fax voice modem. i clicked on the diagnostics tab so i could so i could put a check mark next to append to log but it is grayed out. How can i fix this so i can run some diags? thx
If it's an external USB modem, you're probably out of luck. A lot of those didn't work properly or at all after XP. I had a few that we used for dail-up PC Anywhere "back in the day" and I ended up dumping them. Internal software modems are dirt cheap, if you really need to send faxes.
