Yes, I feel some hardware has gone corrupt , as the PC might have shut down due to power failure may be 500 times in 3-4 months, since when we started getting the power issues. I feel, some hardware has gone kaput. I just need to track down which one and replace it, but how to find, what has gone wrong, Im confused. It can be PSU or SMPS or Graphic card or RAM, what!
You mean download all separately and test or all this comes in one app ? And I think, I tried MEMTEST, but it shows some registry screen and doesnt open anything. Confused.
That's what happens when your video card has a soft-crash. It auto-restarts, but it is failing to keep up with itself. This is usually due to insufficient power, overclocking, or insufficient cooling while under load. If you are overclocking, I'd recommend sticking to core overclocking only and leave the memory out of it. Memory tends to heat up and have insufficient heat dissipation regardless of the amount of fan speed you throw at it. The way they design the cards is just not meant for overclocking. If you want to overclock your memory you really need to research a heat-dissipation overhaul such as a water-cooling guide.
That's the freeware edition of the original version. Actually, the Memtest from my link is Memtestx86+, an improved Open Source version.
So, what exactly I should do ? Replace with a new Graphics card ? Send it to Asus and ask or replacement ? Or how do I debug this ? Please help!
We just reached office and started the PC and it has restarted like 15 times in 30 minutes already. Screen goes and comes and after that happens for 2-3 times, it completely restarts with screen gone. How do we debug this what exactly is going wrong ? Because, there is absolutely no load on the PC or we haven't even started the work. But it has started the restarting. NO OVERLOADING is out of question. The room with PC is always on the AC, so cooling should not be a problem too. And we have a new 1200va UPS connected to the system too, so no power issues whatsoever. Now, the only option which is left is OVER CLOCKING, which I dont know, what it is or how to solve.
1. Hiren Boot CD ? Send me a link please, so I can test. 2. Boot to safe Mode and test what ? Shall I boot to safe mode and see, if the same happens or not ? 3. Can try the GPU in another PC, as its the only high end system in our office.
