Hi, My mouse only works on my desk surface. It will not work on a mouse pad at all and i tried a different pad with same results. Both the mouse and the pad are less than a year old. They worked fine together 2 weeks ago. I changed the batteries, cleaned the lense and also the bottom of the mouse and the pad itself. his is a wireless mouse. Any ideas what could coz this guys? thx
Optical mice are not intended to be used on a mouse pad. Now, considering that it used to work fine on a mouse pad, but does not anymore, the only conclusion I can make from your information is that the laser is going bad. Time for a new mouse unless you want to use it on your desk which has a much more reflective surface than the pad.
