Please take in consideration that MSFT doesn't include dll patching (like the ESU Bypass tool does) etcetc... when they publish stuff, they think tech savvy is people using the publicly available MCT (from the article with the same content of Mary Jo Foley a couple of days ago (discussed in the main win 11 22000.xxx build thread, iirc).
I very, very much doubt this too. If they were going to be that militant about it, then it's illogical that they'd have opened it up to "unsupported" installation via ISO in the first place. Do both or do neither. OTOH, I do believe the TPM 1.2 requirement but am puzzled by it (and I expect the Registry workaround will still work). Why bother in the context of it being an "unsupported" installation, especially since the requirement isn't there for Insiders? Again, inconsistent, but not as unbelievable as the above.
But even if you succeed to bypass .. you will not get updates included security updates We'll just get them here.
I guess none of you really understand what unsupported means in 2021 Anyone that wants to use win 11 on unsupported systems like win 7 or xp can't phone MS, can't post in MS forums for any help or official MS/oem tech support - end of story updates will come like win 7 bypass or xp with those user created rollups but don't cry to official support channels for any help In the end for many decades the tech savvy know that forums like mdl and others give better and faster support than MS/oem will ever do but then again this is after MS/oem has put out proper fixes, updates and new OS builds so it goes both ways To anyone running Win 11 on 13 or 14yr old or older systems they will still get updates but as usual performance degredation or other anomalies will happen as these systems, motherboards, drivers too old and not getting any updates for a while which is what the OS needs as well as certain firmware these days and BIOS updates to run fairly smoothly as these are all part of the ecosystem along with regular third party updates and upgrades If you check the large company security blogs like Intel, HP they are putting out daily, weekly, monthly security fixes for drivers and firmware but only for newer systems and sometimes a one off fix for older stuff and then calling it another end of life or unsupported hardware piece
For the second thing. After reading again. Yes you can. But from iso, not from upgrade current working system So no more windows 11 patch script's
No kidding i never once in all my chats said you couldn't!~the closest you read or heard was it wasn't recommended but yes of course you can. i have knowledge and tools to force Windows 11 to install on unsupported machines without TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot because I've done it already.
Anyone read this as firstly a bet each way "It may or maynot happen" and second, just a hollow threat that will catch most to encourage them to buy new machines.
We will allow you to upgrade to Windows 11 but it's negligence on our behalf to allow you to use our software which has major security issues. That's like saying, drive my car but the breaks may or may not work.
You don't mean without workarounds, do you? Because enough sources have mentioned TPM 1.2 now that I think it's a requirement for the ISO/unsupported scenario.
So, are we complaining about not getting updates while the 50% of people here disables Defended AND WU because its an annoyance... How long until someone finds a workarround to use tools like the WU minitool
like bypass 7 will be easy for this forum and others if it comes to that MS hasn't stopped people since days of DOS 1.0
