I did on a VM and it was working for me, tested with win7 x64 and win7 x86 with native versions of office 2010 and all was good. Basically:

    win7 x86 with Office x86

    or

    win7 x64 with Office x64

Like I said it all worked good, it is hard to say though when SP1 goes final.

@All: Does anyone know if the SP1 beta has killed the KMS Option?

They haven't. If they did, they'd kill their corporate customers right along with us.

ok lol, makes sense, I was just wondering if there was a way to block the emulation part of it without killing the whole KMS system. I know they will not kill the KMS system, that would be just plain stupid of them lol.

The seperate sharepoint sp is only necessary for sharepoint server, designer etc, right? Cause sharepoint workspace is also included in office proplus, so I assume that the normal office sp1 also updates that one

    END OF BETA TESTING

Thank you for participating in the Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 Service Pack 1 beta. By participating in this beta program, you’ve provided valuable feedback that will help us ship a high quality product.

We want to let you know that the beta program will officially end on Sunday, March 13, 2011, at 5:00 PM PST.

We recommend that all participants uninstall the Service Pack 1 beta when the final version of the Service Pack is released later this calendar year. At that time, uninstalling the beta will help ensure your Office and/or SharePoint installations will remain current with our monthly Security updates. Additionally, if you participate in other Microsoft beta programs, you should uninstall the SP1 Beta. If you decide not to uninstall the SP1 Beta, the final released Service Pack 1 will install on top of your current beta seamlessly.

After the earlier news about it coming out much later in the year, that post from the beta team is certainly encouraging. I can't imagine they'd end things so soon if it wasn't coming out within a month or two.
