Oh, another thing. :| What's the deal with this pre-release, which is v4.0.1540.0 anyway??? MS already released a final v4, which was build 1526. Do they really need a pre-release of another build of v4? Just update it!
Smart Question, Why M$ release a Pre-Release Edition in same version with old build if they already release the Final Edition???
This has been brought up before, maybe it was just internal (Maybe Windows Defender in W8 was/is MSE ver. 3) or they don't like the number 3 (bizarre reason but I do know they don't use no. 13) Personally I'm glad they used MSE as Windows Defender in Windows 8 as the old WD was borderline rubbish, obviously MSE will be known as Windows Defender W8 & I guess onwards e.g. if they decide to keep it in Windows 9/10 etc. and it'll still just be called MSE for the older OS's as it has been since it was released, since it would be very confusing for MS to change the name now plus Vista/7 already have a WD already built in. I like the name Windows Defender more than MSE (guess MS does too ), short & simple and to the point, but that's just my opinion Just because they've started the Prerelease program off with that version doesn't mean it won't be updated considerably in the future, it is technically a beta just they taken a different spin on it calling it Pre-release & what better way to get feedback than to have it open the public rather than just internal testing.
It is not Fake. I don't have it. My friend Istvan has it. Believe me if you want, otherwise don't. Ask canouna to confirm it.
He used watermark changer! The scrollbar is flat now for example and release preview is branded for testing purpose only and thats missing.
Is it? Why would do that and brag that he has it? By disk he meant ISO. He doesn't know English very well.
They said "all the changes won't be in the RP but will be shown in RTM"... So we will maybe not get this in the RP :/
