This is important for us with an MSDN or TechNet account since we will get a valid KEY which is truely genuine. No need for loader or bios mods as it will validate towards MS servers...
Dont see what difference this will make, I thought keys issued on technet / msdn could only acivated on one machine??
I think this will result in microsoft chasing the subscriber for sharing the stuff he is not supposed to do. Subsequently, the account of the person who shares his keys will be cancelled and maybe they can even sue him for doing so.
One key per subscriber. Can be used unlimited times for any machine. This is because most subscribers are Schools or Businesses so they upgrade. I will get a key and download.
My MSDN subscription ( lapsed ) allowed for activation on 10 machines, with the proviso that they were machines for testing, not actual use. There was no actual way to verify this. There was an exception for the office products, where one installation on a 'production' system was licensed. -- SC
