    HP Pavilion P6675L

    -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : MSI 2A9C (label on board is MS-7613 Ver1.1)
    -Bios Revision : 6.08
    -Bios Type : AMI Bios
    -Bios SLIC : (needs 2.1)
    -Bios Link : no (please explain how to backup original bios of this one?)

    SSv2 method works much better with MSI boards than SSv3.

    I had try to find several time and did not successful.
    Can I use AFUWIN to backup BIOS?

    SSv2 because the modules must be kept the same size and offset in the MSI bios or the problem has been bricks. The SSv2 was developed to circumvent this. In the event of bad flash, MSI are next to impossible to recover from. Back in the beginning, adding another module 23 or using FF space in the bios file was the best way to accomodate the MSI bios.

    Manual modding was very tedious and involved removing the 1B module, modifying it with offset call to slic location, reinserting the 1B module, inserting the slic, and being sure nothing changed in the process.These were very touchy bios to modify with lots of brick along this learning curve.

    It is best to stay with SSv2 for MSi.
