Ok. I actually already tried installing Win7 with a burned DVD but it completely failed once it began expanding windows files, it stayed at 0% for half an hour or so. Unfortunately i realized i had used a torrented version i found elsewhere and i ended up reformatting everything back to windows XP. So, i'm hoping the file was corrupted but it seems other pple have had a similar problem with other versions. I'm trying a second time with the 7600 ISO x64 bit version of Win7 but i'm switching over to the USB method, since i might as well try it. I'll keep you guys posted. ------- Update: My system is telling me one of the files in ----> torrents.thepiratebay.org/5021075/7600.16385.090713-1255_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCU.5021075.TPB.torrent <------------ is corrupted so Windows can't install properly...... does anyone know how to fix this? the link above is from one of the Sticky's 'The Official Windows 7 Repository'
