I was using M-Flash. It's a feature that lets you load your bios from a file on a USB (FAT/F32). In bios, you select to load bios from a USB stick. It reboots, and does a "slightly" different startup routine. (Slightly, as in a massively different) (trying those new 2 that you posted now) Update: I tried both those files with M-Flash, boot from USB. Both failed (same place in windows startup). Decided to try and flash with the 11.10 (11.A) version. It booted without a hitch. Is this discrepancy not strange, that M-Flash can successfully boot using the unmodified BIOS and some of the ones I modified, but can't with the BIOS that successfully modify SLIP? Ah well. Thank you very much Serg, it's been a fun learnning experience for me.
