If you flash it with xp installed, you may have to do repair install or reinstall. The ACPI is messed up. You will get an exception error on reboot with the modded bios..This I know..sorry
XP with ACPI are already installed (with standard bios). I did try to repair the xp. the mod bios file make a bluescreen. In Bios are ACPI enabled. with mod bios file Win7 install 'freezes'
MSI IS SSv2 Remember guys..SSv2 is recommended for a reason. There will be an extremely high chance of brick with no chance of recovery with any other modification method. The MSI SSv2 is special mod, different than regular SSv2. This is from experience. Yen and I were the only ones doing MSI SSv2 for a long time because so difficult(time consuming) manually..be careful.....
Thanks 911, But I don't think that BIOS from savran is an MSI, he has linked to a few MSI BIOS files (which I modded) that didn't match his board. The last one is a back-up from his BIOS and It doesn't automatically show a manufacturer in AMI Tool and would only mod the way I did it. Personally I think it's an ASRock MB. I just added a warning to my previous Post.
