I've actually been having some problems since flashing this BIOS, which might or might not be connected. Today, my XP install BSOD on boot with PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. This is the first time I've tried it since updating the BIOS. I tried defaulting the BIOS settings so that nothing was overclocked and just changing the settings I needed to boot (i.e. SATA mode to AHCI) but no joy. I can boot it in Safe Mode but not normally. Also, my Windows 7 install was showing several errors in Device Manager, so I rebooted and then I couldn't even get the machine to POST, even after killing the power completely and resetting the CMOS several times. Eventually, after unplugging/moving around my USB devices and trying repeatedly I got it booting again, although then Windows 7 was BSOD when booting and auto-rebooting (didn't get to see the error as I hadn't disabled "Restart on error") and I eventually had to use Last Known Good Configuration to be able to boot. It seems to be OK now though and there's no issues showing in Device Manager anymore. Like I say, maybe's there's nothing actually wrong with the patched BIOS but it's just that something's been updated in it by MSI that makes Windows have these issues.
