That BIOS is still showing SLIC 2.0. You should try with this command and switches: (Don't forget the "i" before the BIOS name) Afudos /ixxxx.rom /pbnc /n xxxx.rom is your modified bios. (Programs main BIOS image & bootblock image and resets CMOS and NVRAM to defaults) Just be sure to have a recovery method ready first. Also if you ever used a loader of any kind make sure it is completely removed from the system, because it can cause a conflict with the BIOS mod being seen properly by the OS.
Use RWeverything or the slic dump tool to upload a dump of what happens after the flashed mod bios. I am unsure what you mean by "unknown section".. Also what are the switches you are using.?? you can use the afudos /ibios.rom /p /b /n /c switches (or /pbnc) if you like with afudos..
MSI SLP cannot be added to the correct offsets. It will activate nothing. That is why it is missing... You can choose another if you like.
SEE ABOVE!!! You now have a MSI SLP, for what reason?? It will not work for XP. These are the valid offsets: Code: MSI (OEMBIOS CRC=CBD82950) 'f000','ff70','10','MSI-2831-MS' 'f000','ff70','10','MSI-PenNote' 'f000','ff70','10','MSI-PC' 'f000','e6d0','10','MSI-PenNote' The offset the tool puts the MSI SLP at is 000FE840h...This is not within the proper range of the SLP OEMBIOS files..
