OK - my big bad!!! I installed the wrong bios from the zip files, I also had to rename the slic'd file.. I just reflashed with freedos and the AMI flash tool on my usb stick and all went very well.. Thank You 555LE for your effort to help me out!! I am genuine...
apology I am sorry if you think I was being rude or ungrateful. Thank you for taking the time to compile the file .the point I was trying to make is that the file is different from original bios file I am use to, so I do not know how to install i.e. Install in windows after original bios update or in dos environment. My intention was not to offend as I know you experts are doing us a favor. If it did then I am sorry. I? Just do not know which environment to install the supplied file! 1: do I update in windows or dos? 2: do I update from flash drive or copy onto hard drive I am going to install the file in windows; hopefully that is the correct procedure Once again I am sorry you believe I was ungrateful. That was not my intention. My intention was some help on how to use this file as I have not used that type before! If you ( if you do not want to , i can understand) or anyone can inform me how to use the file in a correct way i would be grateful as i do not want to brick another motherboard Thanks and sorry for misunderstanding will update tonight after work and inform of results
