Fujitsu MS-7304 board and bios mod for full feature access

    Hello,

I own an oem board from MSI called MS-7304. This was provided by Fujitsu and already has a Windows 7 enabled 2.1 SLIC AMI bios. However this is a feature limited bios to prevent trouble from the Fujitsu help desk. Is there a way to access the full features via a mod? I already posted in the MSI user forum for a button combination to unlock the extended settings but the answer was there ARE no hidden settings like in Award Bios. Is this true or does anybody know a combination? If this is not possible and I would post the bios here, would anybody be able to modify the bios in that way that I could access the same settings as compared to MSI retail boards?

    Thank you in advance!

    Tom

Provide a link to the original Bios on the manufacturers site and I will at least look at it for you.

Did you flash with the original v 1.3 Bios and test it ?
It may not work properly on your MB.
You may need to use an older version.

Also did you flash the modded Bios like this:
    afudos /iROMNAME.ROM /n /pnc

    and reset Bios Default settings.

If you flashed the bios from non-SLIC to SLIC bios on XP, the change in ACPI tables may be the culprit. You may need to uninstall the IDE controllers for a bit..kind of like changing motherboards on XP machines..it doesnt like it..

At most, you may need a repair install from XP media..not difficult at all...

    try this:
Since there is no address changes in the original upgrade bios, XP is happy...
