does msi notebook use different cert than msi? cert in link is msi. tried different keys but still same 0xC004E003 which says key is wrong, maybe its because cert is wrong? (cert and key dont match? i don't really know, just throwing things out) (or maybe cert doesn't match slic table in bios)
keys are not vendor specific. it is possible that the dummy slic table inserted by MSI could still be showing up as far as validation goes causing issues. could you please run SLIC toolkit and post screen shot of advanced tab so I can take a look at what may not be matching.

How do you do it? any good websites for me to learn, assuming i have little to no knowledge? btw, if you can't tell by my enthusiasm, it worked! thanks a lot man, i really mean it!
did that one get it done? let me know so I can update the my original post and make it available to others. What does SLIC toolkit show? well it was a little bit of trial and error. started out with tried and true methods ssv2, nvram, then some not so conventional methods (different special options). Do you have Andy's AMI tool? If so we can discuss further through pm's.
I modded the one that was linked to in the original post. If there is a newer one please provide link to that file.
