MSI P67A-GD55 vs GD65. BIOS download from MSI has same filename for both. Same BIOS?

    I put in a request for current BIOS for my motherboard unable to find any in a search of the model number.

    After some further digging I found this post which is the s same file name from MSI. I double checked the MSI web site and the GD55 and GD65 have the same file name for the 1.19 BIOS download (7681v1J.zip). forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/5865-MSI-AMI-bios-mod-requests-post-here/page416?p=578326&highlight=7681v1J.zip#post578326

    The boards are almost identical save for extra ESATA ports on the 65. Has anyone confirmed that it's safe to flash GD65 modded BIOS on a GD55 board?

    Both use same bios. So modded bios should works on both.

    Thanks! I guess I can edit that into my request for future searches.

    EDIT: Actually it seems the file was deleted... I guess my request still stands.
