I flashed it to my E1210 in DOS! I Just made a Bootable USB Drive, added the files and flashed it. 1.0f also works fine on the E1210!
Hello, if you still have the Original Recovery Mode you can also follow these steps to flash the Bios ... 1.) Download the latest Bios from MSI Website and extract the Files to Drive D: 2.) Boot up your notebook by hitting F3 3.) Choose "MS-DOS" from the Recovery menu. 4.) Navigate (cd foldername) to the folder you extracted the bios files before and type in "flash" After Flash is done remove battery for a short time, re-install battery and boot up by hitting the ESC Button. In Bios you have to go to "Advanced" to Disable the "OnBoard Memory" and change the "AHCI" Mode if you used it before. Always use your power supply when doing a bios update.
Seems not to work. Getting an error message from the flash programm "BIOS HAS NO FLASH INFORMATION AVAILABLE" I'll try to find a solution, maybe MSI made a mistake in the batch :-/ ____________________________________ Update: It's working now It was my fault. Power Supply was not switched on =)
