Ok, I've removed Edge and other apps, I've installed the os but Edge and some apps (Groove Music, Movies and Tv, Sticky Notes, Voice Recorder, etc.) were still there. I've remounted the image, I've removed those apps again but MSMG Toolkit doesn't see Edge (already removed!). Anyway, I've applied and saved. I've reinstalled the os and Edge is gone but the other apps are still there! I'm confused. I removed them for sure. So what's wrong with this app? Dependencies? Ah I've got also this (when I made the first os):
Components removed (Windows 10 Home): [1] Internet: all [2] Multimedia: all except F,K,L,M [3] Network: all except 3,4,9 [4] Privacy: all except I [5] Remoting: 6 [6] System: all except T,U [7] System Apps: 03,07,09,13,14,15,(16),21,25,26,31,33,35,36,38,39,40,41,(42),44,45 [8] Windows Apps: 01,06,08,12,16,17,18,22,23,27,28,29,30,31,34,35,40,41,42,43,44,45 There's something wrong about this app or about Win10. What kind of dependency can Sticky Notes have? And why a removed app (Microsoft Edge) is still installed? Mine are just suspicions, I haven't done any tests yet, but I think that to remove Edge you also need to remove WebView and to remove that crap (Groove, Movies, Sticky, Recorder, etc.) you also need to remove Windows Store.
Nevermind, I just spent a certain amount of time chopping and installing LTSC 2021... Your problem is probably using an outdated build. Download the latest available build of win 10 home v22H2 and try again.
This thing definitely doesn't work. If Microsoft is to blame, I apologize, but this app doesn't work. This time I downloaded the latest version of Windows 10 (Home) and always used the latest version of MSMG Toolkit (v13.1). I also removed the Windows Store, but Windows Store and some removed apps (Groove Music, Movies & Tv, Voice Recorder) are still installed. There are also traces (like Start Menu links) of Sticky Notes, Xbox and Xbox bar (everything was removed). I still got this error when SolitaireCollection was removed:
If MSMG can't remove those things I will do it "manually", but I would like to know if I'm the only one who has these problems...
@Mvp77 Your working path needs to be shorter. For example, extracting the ToolKit to your desktop might give the following path (which is too long): C:\Users\Mvp77\Desktop\Toolkit_v13.1 Instead, move the ToolKit folder to the root of your C:\ drive and rename it something short, like TK. This should give the following path: C:\TK The latter path is much shorter and should not produce any error messages about the path being too long. This is also covered in the Readme, which comes with the ToolKit. I would suggest reading this and change how you use the ToolKit accordingly.

Ok, but for example "ServicesStoreEngagement" or "WindowsErrorReporting" are longer than "SolitaireCollection" and nothing happens.
It makes no difference. It doesn't work with both (Windows 10 21h2 or 22h2). So if I'm the only one having these problems, there's something wrong with what I'm doing. I can't understand what...
Other than that, the toolkit does work and it does remove everything in the component removal menu, it's up to you what to keep. And yes, it does matter what version image you're using, as components sometimes change from CU to CU.
MSMG Toolkit is lovely. It is totally random. I made another test and Sticky Notes is gone! Groove, Movies, Recorder, Windows Store are still there, but Sticky Notes is gone...
Okay, but why the hell can't it remove a component like e.g. voice recorder? 1225 page thread and no one can tell why it can't remove voice recorder?
Because you seem to be stubbornly refusing to acknowledge the fact that you're using the wrong windows build.
