Many thanks for the quick response. @geese howard One more question: does the Microsoft.WindowsTerminal_8wekyb3d8bbwe, the VClibraries and Xaml files by itselves contain all of the Terminal dependencies? I see on the GitHub page there are abpit a halaf dozen things that need to be installed if you do it after Windows 10 is set up.
Is there a way for two SKUs in the same install.wim file to import different REG files for each one on MSMG?
Will check Edit. I do not see any problem in the script did you extract all the files? msix license dependencies etc etc
@MSMG By removing the WindowsTIFFIFilter component the below files required by GPedit are removed. %InstallMount%\%%i\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\SearchOCR.admx %InstallMount%\%%i\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\%ImageDefaultLanguage%\SearchOCR.adml Tanks to @fabricio simoes for tests and this print. Image from ISSUE: Can you make the changes to perform the remove "WindowsTIFFIFilter" operation through the ToolkitHelper and keep these files? EDIT: The way I had previously posted the image was moderated. Image posted again, in Thumbnail.
No, doing so will - be like indirectly releasing the code for ToolkitHelper. - be difficult to make the pack since the ToolkitHelper while removing the components checks for various shared components existence and decides what to remove. The idea is good, let me see with encrypted backup option the feature to restore removed components can be added or not.
From last 2 weeks I'm not doing well and so the update is delayed. Have added the support for CloudExperienceHost, ClientCBS, InputApp, ShellExperienceHost, StartmenuExperienceHost, and UndockedDevKit. Fixing the shared components which are connected with these components, soon it will be available with next version.
Usually for non Core editions when a component is removed it's corresponding group policy files are also removed, will check with the WindowsTIFFIFilter component.
