@inTerActionVRI hi, how does the unattend functionality work? if all components are removed, this may be away of installing painlessly. for me being blind and all. since narrator is removed installing silently would be an advantage. is there a setting in unattend.xml that allows installing to the first drive? e.g disk0? or is there away of configureing these settings? from with in toolkit? I use a bios based system. old school I know! from a machine that is from 2013. thank you for adding the unattend functionality. could you possibly if it is no trouble tell me how it works? I mean how to use it when running toolkit. and what the options do? thank you to yourself, @MSMG and all of the other contributores for building and working on something that is truly great. regardless of buggs, for what software is completely bugg free? thank you again! my respect to you all. and yes, I doo ask alot component wize, for this I am sorry. No. This configuration is very dangerous for data loss, I preferred not to make it available directly in the function. All you have to do is get distracted and use the ISO that will have AutoUnattend inserted, on a HD full of data, the first thing it does is remove all partitions and recreate the new ones. "F" is to bring Host language data or Image Language data to make the AutoUnattend.xml The data obtained automatically are: Language Fallback Language Active Keyboard - Input Locale Time Zone You dont need to use "F" option, it will be set with your Host data by default. "S" will ask you for: Machine Name (leave it empty if you use this file on several PCs) I don't think this is your case. Organization Name User Account Name User Password User Password Description (That would be the password reminder.) This will be ordered in sequence. "L" Is Auto Logon and is Disabled by default if you don't want to type the password at every logon, you can enable this option. Each time you select an option, you will return to the same menu. Only when you use "W" to write the file in the DVD folder, upon completion, it will return to the Main Menu. Nice. It is very simple. You can make one file, in that file you will put the config of your partitions. Inform me the required partitions and the sizes. I will send you the file in PM if you want. @inTerActionVRI hi, thanks for your answers the partition layout for my machine I would like, the hole disk taken up with the install. as much of the disk for the os install, the remainder for required boot items. Majid
For Windows 10? If yes, then I'll make one for you whenever I'm on my system but mind you it will be risky as it will wipe the entire hdd/ssd partition structure period
Hi @MSMG, @inTerActionVRI, Here are a few bug reports to keep you productive during the boring summer days after the recent release: 1., Selecting [A] All Windows Apps from Remove [8] Windows Apps leaves [04] + Calculator App active with a + sign. 2., Toolkit.cmd refers to the following line 3 times: Do you want to remove it & continue, one of them would be the DVD folder not being empty, when I try to extract from .iso, however, upon selecting "y" to remove the content, the folder stays exactly as it was. You can verify this quickly by not providing the answer for "Enter the ISO Image filename without .iso" yet and checking the DVD folder, and furthermore the question is asked again when you provide an invalid filename that exits this option and you go back to do it again. I did not see any actual deletion command in Toolkit.cmd after the question is being asked (3 times, but there may be similar instances for other questions)
As far as I can tell, v13.4 is basically v13.3 with some tweaks to the script and the updated ToolKitHelper to support the current stable versions of Windows. Perhaps v13.3 is perfect for you because you don't fully understand something in v13.4, despite them being almost the same. It isn't wrong to have an opinion. But to make remarks like yours (as you have done in this thread) without detailing your issues makes you sound rude. Fine, you might be frustrated that v13.4 works a little differently, but ask in this thread and I'm sure somebody will help you. There's no excuse to be rude. I would argue that it is mandatory to use the latest version, otherwise you might introduce old bugs into your build. Also the latest versions usually have support for the current stable builds of Windows - using an old version of the ToolKit on a current version of Windows wouldn't be viewed as good practice. I am not being childish or trying to impose on you. I am addressing you quite politely, but feel free to report any of my posts which you feel that my tone isn't to your liking.
@MSMG, You can add wallpapers to the iso, if it were ai in what pack and what format should they be png, bmp, jpg
First of all @FriedTempe you was the one that come here and ask some questions, second this is a project that is not only maintained by the @MSMG team but by many people like the ones you offended @inTerActionVRI and many others who constantly improve the code and post in this forum. If you don't like the answer of @inTerActionVRI or any answer from the persons here just ignore, but first of all, we only want respect and you disrespect a lot of people who use, report and provide feedback to @MSMG. The fact @MSMG is the developer doesn't mean that MSMG team cannot implement code from the community or any place that has a code that could make his work a lot easier. So, if you want question anything, you're welcome, but come here and offend people like you did, is better get out. Because we do not need you or any of your arrogance here. We only want positive people who respect each other and also provide as much as information they can, like many of us @MSMG has his life and need a break to stay with his family and also take some rest. If you're bored with something, don't put this anger feeling in us, but in the right people and we do not deserve receive this feeling from or anyone else. We all want help each other, want to know how to fix this, that and bla bla bla.... If our question is already answered, the moderators, the community has totally freedom to reply with the question answered earlier. And when @inTerActionVRI says that is up to you use or not v13.4 is because is you that will decide, not me or him or anyone in this forum. You will have to go to "Integrate" - "Custom Features Menu" and use the "Custom Files" option. Add your files in the folder \Custom\Files\W11\x64\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\Windows You can create a specific folder with your Screens like: \Custom\Files\W11\x64\Windows\Web\Backgrounds Wherever you like. After install, you go to configs and select your folder for sliding your wallpapers. About de file that windows accept. You can manually make the folder in your current system and test. jpg and bmp works as always. You need to test png files.
