I have to check in my notes if the component responsible for Cloud Content is ClouExperienceHost. EDIT: I got confused. Please check ContentDeliveryManager component. If you don't removed it, don't apply Disable3rdPartyApps tweak for testing purpose.
Hopefully @MSMG will fix this issue in upcoming build Nevertheless, is it safe to use RemoveAppsList.txt together with above RemovePkgsList.txt Spoiler: Content of RemoveAppsList.txt Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 Microsoft.BingWeather Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller Microsoft.GetHelp Microsoft.Getstarted Microsoft.HEIFImageExtension Microsoft.Microsoft3DViewer Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection Microsoft.MicrosoftStickyNotes Microsoft.MixedReality.Portal Microsoft.MSPaint Microsoft.Office.OneNote Microsoft.People Microsoft.ScreenSketch Microsoft.SkypeApp Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp Microsoft.VP9VideoExtensions Microsoft.Wallet Microsoft.WebMediaExtensions Microsoft.WebpImageExtension Microsoft.Windows.Photos Microsoft.WindowsAlarms Microsoft.WindowsCalculator Microsoft.WindowsCamera microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps Microsoft.WindowsFeedbackHub Microsoft.WindowsMaps Microsoft.WindowsSoundRecorder Microsoft.WindowsStore Microsoft.Xbox.TCUI Microsoft.XboxApp Microsoft.XboxGameOverlay Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider Microsoft.XboxSpeechToTextOverlay Microsoft.YourPhone Microsoft.ZuneMusic Microsoft.ZuneVideo If yes? The purpose of removing SystemApps like CloudExperienceHost, Edge, etc., is to prevent apps with telemetry from getting deployed & to skip OOBE dialogues for privacy and user account, I used below unattend.xml. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...lemetry-repository.63874/page-96#post-1786024
What I do is add start the Toolkit, impport the DVD folder, integrate the apps, and save it and make an ISO. No removal going on, but it still doesn't show all the Inbox Apps @Yanta listed. Do you have to do something proactively in order to keep the components, like select for them to be integrated or is it enough to just not remove them? I haven't removed anything yet and are just trying to get Inbox Apps properly integrated before I start customizing and removing stuff.
Remove Apps List is menu 8 of the component removal menus. There is no necessity. Regarding RemovePkgsList, populated with the contents of the DISM template : I have already done removal tests after using with content from the ToolkitHelper template. The only one that Toolkithelper doesn't completely remove is CEIP. But I think this could be something strategic that @MSMG itself must have maintained for some compatibility. If not, with this information posted, he will certainly check and make the necessary corrections.
@haris_mdlf69, If that's not it, I don't know what could be. But it was with ContentDeliveryManager that I had this problem in W10. I integrated the MS Games Pack and the shortcuts did not appear in the start menu. Not even on W11 22000. Recently I started to remove the ContentDeliveryManager, and I didn't realize to check this in the tests. Since 22621.1778 I have not put any new updates into daily use. Only tests on VMs.
Better to wait for an update from @MSMG regarding this issue as neither I remove Content Delivery Manager package nor I use Disable3rdPartyApps option from Apply Tweaks section in Customize part.
After mounting my DVD I go to Remove, 3,1,C and turn off all compatibility options. Then I integrate some 10G NIC drivers, Windows Features, the latest SSU/CCU and then go to Inbox apps. They are all off by default so I select the ones I want to integrate and then Start integrating Windows Apps. Do my removals, apply a couple of tweaks and apply the changes and build the ISO. I don't think I'm doing anything out of the ordinary, just following the menus top to bottom.
Just tried following that exact recipe, but as last time, only Dolby Audio Extensions, HEIF Image Extensions, OpenCL™ and OpenGL® Compability Pack, Web Media Extensions and Webp Image Extensions is integrated. None of the others. Tested the Toolkit on both a Windows 10 Pro computer and a Windows 11 Home computer with same result. Tried using the appx and appxpackage files MSMG has uploaded, and downloaded my own, but no changes. Think I'll just wait til the Toolkit is updated and try it again then. If it doesn't work then either, then I'll just finish making the ISO and integrate everything after first boot.
TESTED: Apparently the answer is you have to start from scratch, at least if you are trying to add AMD drivers to an .ISO that already has Intel drivers.
Using MSMG ToolKit v13.6 to download the professional version UUP of w11 22h2 22621.2134 ISO. Why are the components that were manually selected and successfully removed still not removed after installation? I don’t know what the problem is?
removing windows insider in 23h2 causes ‘Just a moment’ hang, i know its not supported but i thought it was good to report anyway so you already know
Which scheduled tasks can I remove safely in Windows 11 when creating images offline? Once installed, I remove all except 2 - Unelevated Explorer and Defrag/Optimize. When I try to do that for offline images, it messes up install process, even if install is fully unattended.
hi, win 11 23h2 image when trying to remove components some get * symbol instead + or - means cant remove some of the components like for example edge. how can I fix it ? or is it because of 23h2 aint supported ? Thanks
