MSMG ToolKit

Tried it once, never got back to the fresh install state. It is as good as a beta functions...

 

I was able to take a screenshot from the security properties and the unknown account.
It is necessary to clarify that this happens when setting permissions on registry keys.



It seems that files and folders are not affected, but anyway I would like to delete any reference to account unknown.
I suspect that this happens after DX9 integration, but it can also be another pack.

Edit 1: Just checked on an English Windows 10 LTSB prepped with MSMG and the same "unknown account" is present when setting permissions on registry keys.

Edit 2: It seems that this is not an issue with MSMG toolkit but rather something generalized. There are many reports on the web, some say it's defaultuser0 account, others say it has to do with the Edge appx.

You are right.
i have this unknow account on registry entries too. This SID is already there for quite a long time. I have it on a fresh Windows 10 LTSB 2016 install without any tweak and without the use of MSMG Toolkit.
So it's a MS's bug thing
The SID is different of the defaultuser0's SID, so something similar but not the same account.

I don't know if this was caused by this tool but sometimes I click in the Start Menu and nothing happens. If I restart explorer.exe it will start working again.

 

This is correct for Setupcomplete.cmd?

Can someone explain to me why in Windows 10 1607, the update "KB4033637" is always showing up? I integrated the two existing versions but always keeps asking.

MS Paint is only available in Windows Store starting from Fall Creator's Update. Perhaps the next build of MSMG Toolkit should add a "Integrate MS Paint" so people could get it without Windows Store?

 

Does this Tool removes evrything, leave no leftovers behind like services or something else, I used NTLITE After i remove onedrive, the onedrive service was still there and running ?!

 

And so I failed with my C++ integration project

and toolkit can not integrate KB4013214, said can not be opened, only these two updates, i think Microsoft lunch a new vresion os KB 4033637 in August, but i can't find in Windows Update Catalog or even in web.

 

MSPaint is still here in 16299 and will be there in Fall Creator's Update.
Iit is just depreciated for now.
