Try creating such a complex tool yourself, then you can come back 'complaining' . Isn't helpful, only annoying .
You have no right to be disrespectful toward MSMG who develops this tool for free in his free time between work and school while asking nothing in return. Please show a little respect.
yeah dont pressure him, doesnt help. thats kinda why i suggested to have some beta version, we got something to play with as each fix is out.
Relax, guys)) It was just a joke! Don't be so serious)) I really respect MSMG and I'll wait for new release patiently, as long as it takes.
I have used MSMG on an Enterprise image and I am very happy with the results. I only have a few small issues. The below apps are not available for removal, so I was not able to remove them: [C] Microsoft Maps [G] Microsoft Xbox & Gaming [H] Windows Contact Support App I could not find any option to remove People, so I imagine this will be implemented in v7.8. Otherwise my installation on a virtual machine seems to work well.
thats what makes it beta and thats why there are beta software around. easier if people complain what doesn't work than have msmg figure out and test every single detail. No, think.
I understood you meant it as a joke. The difficulty in telling subtle jokes on this thread in particular and MDL in general is that English is not everyone's first language. I suspect that Google or Bing or Weebo translate sucks the oxygen out of any subtle 'humor.' I wonder how "sucks the oxygen" will get translated??
How to add Netfx 4.7 to v1703 of W10. Should i remove default metro apss before or after integerate windows updates?
i think i cannot wait any longer. i gotta get a new iso going. does anybody know if using 7.7 on 1709 has any serious issues? the one most concerning to me are sfc scannow and errors flooding event viewer as msmg mentioned. what are the immediate affects of sfc scannow not coming clean? if there are any other serious issues do share please kind people.
I'm with you. What I take away from all I've read on this and other threads is ... as long as you are conservative in what you remove with 7.7 you should end up with a stable error free system. AFAIK Safe to remove all the metro apps you want Safe to leave (not touch) ALL "Advanced/System" apps (like defender) Disable the "Advanced/System" apps that really bother you either in the registry before you install or in the OS after you install Well ... that's my plan anyway ... Basically I'm planning to use MSMG as a package wrapping machine to Expose the WIM inject some updates add Net3.5 edit the WIM registry Make defender and other apps dormant (but leave them in place) disable services disable OneDrive from starting automatically Seal the WIM Compress the image Build the ISO All this could be done using other tools and scripts. The only real benefit I'm getting from MSMG's tool is that I've used it enough times to feel confident in how it works and competent in my ability to use it. As soon as I've built and installed my version of a de-bloated OS I'll let you know of more
I tested 7.7 on 1709 and have not found any serious issues. I have cut out all the metro apps and the most of the system components, including Defender, Cortana, System Restore, and seems it does not cause any noticeable problems. There is an issue with sfc scannow, but after passing it and fixing found issues, the second run of sfc passes with no issue. There are no errors in event viewer after fixing issues with scannow. System works stable and seems to be usable. If you can't wait any longer, then do it. But I'll better wait some days for a new release. I don't want to risk. Good luck!
Hello Are the DART and Directx9 pack in MSMG's toolkit compatible with 1709? If not, what are the issues?
Two bugs when dealing with Win10_1709(16299) 1. The Sync settings option isn't available. I don't know which component causes this issue. 2. When removing Microsoft Telemetry Services, it will also remove Windows Content Delivery Manager Package which provides Windows spotlight in lock screen. I like spotlight.
