Ok now that is entirely unintuitive, who would guess that... so... if Packs\LangPacks\ isn't for language packs.... what is it for?? *queue X-Files theme*
Yeah, it didn't work. You can't remove some stuff because it breaks the OS, you can't install language packs following the program instructions because...who knows. And the workaround doesn't even work. Best tool ever.
@MSMG could you make your next toolkit update work when "Hyper-V Platform" is enabled. I found out when "Hyper-V Platform" is enabled. It stops the toolkit for working properly.
Sarcasm flag wasn't set, he was actually saying that the complainer should make a better tool for free... Cheers.
As you've probably already figured out, your order is back to front. Convert Home/Core to Pro for Workstation (first step), then (second step) apply NTLite. lol! Where can I order one of those?
In spite of having used the disable Windows Defender option in Winaero Tweaker it didn't disable some of its components and services and I'm also running an antivirus! I don't know why but every time I do a major upgrade (this time for Fall Creators Update) my .Net Framework is broken and now I can't run some apps! EDIT: It also happens after a clean install so it might be caused by MSMG ToolKit and/or NTLite (I used both)! EDIT 2: It's caused by NTLite. Strange, I removed .NET Framework 3.5 with NTLite and now I have .NET Extensibility 3.5, whatever that is. Does anyone know how can I use the "Repair your computer" option after making an unattend file with NTLite since it skips the first the screen in which this option appears? EDIT 3: If I run the setup.exe inside of the new ISO (without the .NET Framework problem) created by NTLite will I have the .NET Framework problem or do I need to do a clean install? EDIT 4: I removed Windows Defender with NTLite and some of its components and services are still running and the information on the left regarding each service (in services.msc) disappeared! Does removing Windows Defender with MSMG ToolKit remove its components and services? Which app is responsible for the lock screen? NTLite ignores an Adobe Flash Player update when I try to integrate it in boot.wim (not in install.esd)! Another problem is that I removed with NTLite the Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer (because I don't need it since I removed Internet Explorer) so did I do the right thing by integrating the mentioned update (I also have the ignore problem when integrating the Adobe Flash Player update if I don't remove the Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer)? Should I not integrate the mentioned update, after all? After removing the Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer will I have any problems regarding Flash (like in other browsers)? The update integration was not successful after removing the Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer so does that mean that this Adobe Flash Player is like a generic thing and not only for Internet Explorer? In that case I won't remove it in spite of removing Internet Explorer and will integrate the update. I tried not removing Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer and integrating the update and this time it was successfuly integrated although it still says during the process that it was ignored in boot.wim! Also, I apply the settings to install.wim and boot.wim but afterwards I remove the unneeded edition which is boot.wim so does that mean that I'm losing time doing things with boot.wim for nothing? If I keep boot.wim I won't recover some diskpace? Will I have any problems if I remove it? Why does boot.wim still appear after I load the extracted ISO files after removing it? EDIT 5: Now I can't install an update and Windows Update says "Some settings are managed by your organization"! Gpedit.msc isn't working! EDIT 6: I created a new ISO and did another upgrade install and I still have many problems, although less! EDIT 7: What is this default switch in Hyper-V and how can I delete it? Also, I can't apply any of the 3 options inside it! Maybe it is caused by something removed by NTLite!
