Sometimes the permanent activation will be deactive for sake of severe changes of driver/software/hardware.
Good question. Well, I was once thinking of combining files into a cab. But It's very difficult to me, and seemingly unnecessary.
MSMG Toolkit definitely never activated anything for me. I suggest aboddi's KMS_VL_ALL (new one one, with optimized code!!!...whatever that means...).
For me it did activate 1511 Pro. After removing components I always go to tweaks tab and click on Activate windoze. Then I do bootable usb install it and when I have type slmgr - xpr it says your copy of Windows is genuine and permanently activated.
Betting on this was well. I have not had to enter a key in quite some time on any install. The last time I had to was doing a fresh install on a system that was originally windows 7.
It would if the fresh install of 10 was the first time 10 was ever on that system. On a related note they must have postponed the end of windows 10 activation with a 7 key because I did this on the 6th just to see if it still worked.
Since the first release of windows 10 (10240) there was no need to enter any key at installing the OS. They extended the free hwid option to Jan. 16. 2018 (but it's expected to be able to do it after the date, time will tell).
I should have been more specific. I was talking about a system reporting that it is activated. Other than this one system (that I converted from 7 to 10 with a fresh install, not in place upgrade) I do not remember the last time I have seen the onscreen message about not being activated yet. I am not surprised that they postponed this and I also would not be surprised if they continue to postpone it.
Clearly. I am talking about looking at your desktop after windows is installed and seeing or not seeing the message about needing to activate. I have no idea why you think I am talking about installing because I am not. I am pointing out that I never seem to need to activate anything. I know about keys in the BIOS but older systems that this should not apply to also seem to report being activated without me doing anything after reinstall.
You only won't see the message about needing to activate when you've inserted a working key (a genuine one, preferably) or when (there is a MSDM or a previously established HWID by either) upgrading from an activated 7/8.1 > 10 or using the genuineticket.xml). Windows never will magically activate without any of the above.
This was you original reply. KMS(_VL_ALL) never will cause windows to show a permanent activation, it will show a time and date the KMS activation will end. As @s1ave77 said, that system would probably already have an established HWID or genuine key used. Also on those systems there is no need to enter a key at initial setup of win 10 and when you upgrade it to 10 it will get a HWID, so no need for a key too. But nothing of this has to do with any option of MSMG toolkit.
I have tested kms activator once and it did activate my Windows copy. Then because of one of the applications I have to use I had to change system date and windows became deactivated
That's normal, KMS is time limitted by design (activation grace) and therefor is sensitive to changes of time(zone).
