MSMG ToolKit

Hi,
On my online windows 10 i have remove Windows Store, did you know how to install it back ?
I think i must use Add-AppxPackage but don't found help on the whole forum.

And if someone know how to reinstall a componnent removed by MSMG Toolkit's...

The Store can not be restored.
Only reinstall the system with the Store.

I somehow also tried to restore the Store, which was removed from the image.
and nothing helped.
I had to reinstall the system with the Store.

Is the toolkit ready to go for RS4 or will there be an update to address known issues (if there are any)?

If its ready to go already I can do a test build with just about everything removed as soon as RS4 is final.

 

If you were able to access my network, I'd simply audit servicing logs on your device and quickly show you how far from "without issue" your images truly are if you are removing anything outside of Provisioned App Packages, or component packages like Skype ORTC and HomeGroup that can be removed without tripping critical corruption flags, which do not present themselves to the end-user, but can be audited by a server or logged locally, and whether or not these flags will prevent any future servicing depends entirely on whether any future update checks for said flags in order to verify the integrity of the system before allowing cumulative or security updates to install.

 

I cant get any CU to install on my modified pro images I made. Several PC's with this issue. KB4088776 is most recent, and I can't figure out how to get it to install.

It's some .net 3.5 error. Was this discussed earlier? Frustrating. LTSB is looking better

 

Not sure what you want me to say. I ripped just about everything out and get my updates. I can't complain about my results.

 

This is not the problem with the modded image.
If you search around many other non modded also have problem with update install.
Use the update fix tool from microsoft and try again.
What fix my update install problem is manually download then install, the fix tool didn't help me but it may solve your problem.

 

You should wait until RS4 release. MSMG need more time to update his toolkit. It's worth to wait.

.NET is so much trouble. Both 3.5 and 4.7.x.
I've come to the conclusion that it's better to simply suck it up and do that post install.

 

Pretty much this. I install them when something asks for it.

Maybe it's not the modified image, but I have 4 PC's that wont update. I have 3 fresh images with the new build, I think 8.0 and they all updated fine.

I never install 3.5 pre install, always after only when something needs it.

 

I just finished my project. Now on extensive testing phase, an application that requires .Net 4.6.2 or above fails to function. I also used Dism ++ to re-assemble the .Net assemblies, I have no idea where it went wrong or even if it's the .Net that's culprit. I'm also coming to the conclusion that your is the right way to go.

Edit: Can anyone point me to an application which requires .net 4.6.2 or above ? The one which is smallest in size. I need to test out some other programs to determine what's at fault here.

Edit 2: Well this is the log from the failed application. Maybe someone can interpret it better then I do and point out what's making it fail.

can someone pls give more info on Microsoft Windows ThinPC Add-ons Pack
is this pack suppose to integrate necessary component in thin pc which are stripped down in original thin pc.
after integrating this pack in thin pc, is this right that thin pc can be useful as other mainstream windows 7 editions.
does this pack include, photo viewer, system restore,various runtime and libraries,driver search, scanner and fax,.net 3.5 and search function in windows and many more things.
